The 2025 Project is to replace hospital mattresses. With a goal of raising $30,000, this campaign invites both hospital staff and the broader Lincoln-area community to come together and invest in something meaningful: better rest, better healing, and better experiences for every patient who stays with us.
We are asking our internal team—PVH’s dedicated staff and board of directors—to raise $15,000, and we are turning to you, our neighbors and friends, to match that amount with another $15,000 from the community. Together, we can ensure that every patient who stays at PVH does so on a high-quality, supportive mattress that promotes healing and comfort.
Staff will also be stepping up in a special way. Those who choose to donate will earn the opportunity to “dress down” each Friday during the campaign—wearing jeans and a custom pin that proudly says, “We are dressed down for your comfort.” It’s a visible reminder that giving isn’t just about money—it’s about showing up, pitching in, and being part of something bigger. When you see that pin, you’ll know: our staff is giving for you, for your loved ones, and for our community.
PVH also maintains a general, undesignated PVH Donation Fund, to support the ongoing needs of upgrading equipment, infrastructure, and technology to maintain local high-quality care. Please consider including PVH in your will or trust to leave a life-giving legacy in the community. These arrangements can be placed in a living will, and those documents are available through PVH Patient Registration or may be arranged with your legal or financial advisor.
