Penobscot Valley Hospital (PVH) is pleased to offer a Basic Life Support (BLS) course for members of the community who want to learn essential life-saving skills. This comprehensive course will take place over two days, on Tuesday, April 15th, and Thursday, April 17th, from 4:30 to 8:00 PM at PVH.
The cost of the course is $75.00 per person and includes:
- CPR training for adults, infants, and children
- Instruction on the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Basic first aid training
- A student workbook and a certification card (delivered via email upon completion)
Participants will gain hands-on experience and be efficiently trained in these critical life-saving techniques. This course is ideal for grandparents, babysitters, daycare providers, teachers, and anyone who wants to be prepared for emergencies.
The class size will be limited to 10 students to ensure personalized instruction. Payments must be made in advance via check, payable to Penobscot Valley Hospital. Additionally, PVH is happy to arrange private company or group classes upon request.
