Penobscot Valley Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of three distinguished individuals to its Board of Directors during 2024: Christie Hanson, Ryan Reed, and Richard Stone. Each brings a wealth of diverse experience and a deep commitment to the community, aligning with PVH’s mission to be the trusted healthcare partner for the community.
Christie Hanson
A native of Lincoln, Maine, Christie Hanson brings a unique combination of local roots and professional expertise to PVH. A graduate of the University of Maine with a Bachelor’s degree and the University of New Hampshire with a Master’s degree, Christie’s career has been defined by her ability to drive transformation and innovation. She began her career at Hannaford Supermarkets, advancing from Assistant Store Manager to Senior Strategy Analyst to an organizational leader in Strategy and Innovation. Christie is now working with Sexual Assault Support Services of Midcoast Maine, where she oversees agency operations and client services. Her extensive experience in developing organizations and her connection to the Lincoln community make her a valuable addition to the board.
Ryan Reed
Ryan Reed, a resident of Enfield with strong deep roots in the area, offers a diverse background in engineering, IT, volunteering and finance. A graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, Ryan currently serves as the CEO and President of Lincoln Federal Credit Union. His leadership experience and community-focused perspective will be instrumental in guiding PVH’s initiatives to enhance care and services for the region.
Richard Stone
With decades of experience in organizational consulting and leadership, Richard Stone brings a broad range of expertise to the PVH Board. His impressive résumé includes serving as a Bangor City Council member and contributing to the boards of organizations such as the Bangor Museum and History Center, Bangor YMCA, and Key Bank and more. Richard’s deep knowledge of organizational dynamics and his passion for community service align seamlessly with PVH’s vision for delivering exceptional healthcare.
