Dr. Deep Acharya, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at East Tennessee State University in 2008 and holds a fellowship from Milton S. Hershey Medical Center at Penn State. Dr. Acharya began his medical education at Baroda Medical College and completed additional training in Internal Medicine through residency and internship at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. He has been board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine since 2008.

Emergency Medicine is the medical specialty that focuses on the immediate decision making and action necessary to prevent death or further disability. The emergency physician provides immediate initial recognition, evaluation, care, and disposition of a generally undifferentiated population of patients in response to acute illness and injury. The care provided by the emergency physician is episodic in nature and involves a full spectrum of physical and behavioral conditions.
