Audiology & Hearing Aids

Chris Clukey AudiologyCommunity Notice: Audiology Services Ending July 18, 2025

We would like to inform our community that Audiology services at Penobscot Valley Hospital will be discontinued effective July 18, 2025.

Our Audiologist, Chris Clukey, will continue to see patients on July 11 and July 18, with July 18 marking his final day of service with us. We are deeply grateful to Chris for his dedicated care to our patients over the years.

Christopher Clukey, Audiologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, visits the PVH Rehab & Wellness Center in downtown Lincoln on Fridays, providing hearing evaluations and hearing aid services for adults. Mr. Clukey will also be offering free hearing aids to working people through the Maine Rehab Services program, hearing aid cleanings, batteries, and trade-in discounts on new hearing aids.

If you or someone you know is showing signs of hearing loss, it may be time for a hearing evaluation. Common signs include:

  • listening to the television too loudly,
  • asking others to repeat themselves, and
  • not participating in conversations.

Hearing evaluations are recommended every two years, and those with hearing aids should have adjustments every six months.

Call the PVH Rehab & Wellness Center to set up your appointment at (207) 794-7228. Walk-ins are also welcome between the hours of 9 am and 3:30 pm on Fridays.
